    The ink itself is not gloss or matte — the finish comes from the type of label or paper you use and the printer it’s paired with:

    Gloss printers + gloss labels/paper → ink looks shiny and vibrant.
    Matte printers + matte labels/paper → ink looks smooth and non-reflective.

    So the inks are the same; the difference in finish comes from the printer setup and the type of media you’re printing on.
