Label Dispensers
Label dispensers peel and present one label at a time for pick-and-apply by an operator, eliminating the need to pry labels from the liner by hand. The label feeds over a peel plate and the leading edge extends forward ready to pick up, while the liner winds onto an internal core or is collected separately.
Manual and semi-automatic dispensers
Manual dispensers use a hand crank or peel bar and suit low-volume or occasional labelling work where a powered unit is not justified. Semi-automatic dispensers advance one label on a foot pedal or sensor trigger, keeping both hands free for product handling. These are a practical step up for anyone applying 200 or more labels per shift. The key spec is label width capacity: check your largest label size before selecting a model.
Automatic dispensers
Automatic dispensers use a photo-eye or conveyor signal to advance labels in sync with product flow, used on production lines where labelling must keep pace with packaging speed without a dedicated operator at the station. Unlike a label applicator, a dispenser presents the label but does not press it onto the product: an operator or separate mechanism handles final placement. If you need hands-free application from peel to press, see our label applicators.
